This great man did something for me that will never be forgotten I think of him often. I was a kid who was bullied and Ray taught me the skills to box and defend myself and the confidence I carry to this day. We sparred with the likes of Paul Sussi and "Diamond" Jim McDonald before he fought Michael Spinks for the belt. The Grand Blanc Boxing team had a small area in a boiler room in what seemed to be the basement of the school, but Ray made it work. Thank you Ray for what you did for me and...
