Beloved husband of 60 yrs. to Mary Ann (nee Rousal); father of Donna Straka (Ray), Patti Smith (Bob), David (Pam) and John (Lori); grandfather of Matthew (Erin), Christopher, Eric, Tim, Jackie, Blake, Taylor and Chelsea; great grandfather of Lucy; son of the late Mary (nee Zakareckis) and John Tushar; brother of Beth Pinney (Chuck) and Marylyn Valentine (Lewis). Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and a 30 plus yr. member of the Fairview-West Park (West Shore) Rotary. Passed away June 13, 2014. Funeral Mass Monday, June 16, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Ln.) at 11:30 AM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of N. OLMSTED 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS SUNDAY 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave. Sandusky, Oh 44870.
