Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Vickery and Eileen:
So sorry for the loss of a dear husband and father.
I have rejoiced in my many memories of home ec praising you in all that you taught me as I cook and sew for my husband and 3 sons and now 4 grandchildren. If only students today had such a great teacher! (Remember the tootsie roll Marie put in the bed pan!)
God bless ya'll!

Dear Mrs. Vickery: My sister, Erin, and I wish to express our condolences on the loss of your husband. While doing our Holiday baking this year, your name came up as we reminisced about the "tips" we had learned in your Home Ec class and allowed as how we probably couldn't do it any other way, even after all these years! Our mother passed away as I started 9th grade and you were so kind and thoughtful that year--always using my dress whenever you demonstrated a sewing technique. Before I knew...

Dear Edna and Eileen,
I am so sorry for your loss. It amazes me that Ray was in his late 80's. Time truly goes on. As a matter of fact, I turned 59 last week and am currently a grandmother of one and expecting another. I retired last June after teaching at Palm Beach Gardens High School for 25 years (in addition to North Shore and New Jersey). Take care and know that I am thinking of you.

Even when you know it's coming, it still hurts, doesn't it? Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers in these days.

Mrs. Vickery, I am so sorry about your husband's death. I didn't know him but I knew you well. You taught Home Ec at Northboro and we still talk about making beds and candles. I sewed on Grandma to get extra credit. I am now 58 years old and through the years have thought about the things you taught me and wanted to tell you. This was the only opportunity I had. My address is 6610 Pioneer Road. WPB 33413. Would love to hear from you. I'm friends with Nadine Neff, Debby Ross, Linda Willson,...

Edna, Our condolences on Vic's death. We think of you often as we did over the holidays when we passed through the Atlanta airport to and from California where we visited with lots of family. E-mail us your phone number and we'll touch base the next time we get up that way. All our love, Esther and Rome

Dearest Edna and Eileen,

Ed and I wish to express our deepest sympathy over your loss of Ray. We will always remember the wonderful times we spent with you. Much love, thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy for your great loss.

Edna, we were saddened to read today about Ray's recent death. We want to extend our most sincere sympathy. He will always be fondly remembered as a friend and teaching colleague.
