Dear Maureen and Family,My deepest sympathy to you and your whole family. I just saw Drs. death notice now and im deeply saddened. I would have liked to go to the funeral service. I am a nurse from the old St. John Hospital. I worked in the recovery room. Dr. Votypka would stay at the bedside of his patients till they woke up. Reading my husband´s St. Ignatius magazine, I learned that Dr. Votypka passed away. I am terribly sorry to have just learned this news. I have treasured memories of the entire family growing up. Dr. Votypka would often give me a ride to school in the Volkswagen, but it wasn´t just a ride to school, it was also time to give great advice or discuss a current event. I will never forget him...

To The Votypka Family, Ray was a wonderful doctor and friend. He helped so many people along the way. Ray was very outspoken and always voiced his honest opinion. We are all saddened by his death.

To the Votypka family - both myself and my late father have many fond memories of working with Dr. V throughout the years. He was a very dedicated surgeon and will be missed. My condolences to you.

So sorry for your loss...He was my children's and my MD when we had ENT concerns. I was a nurse at (old), St John's Hospital...many of us "watched" the girls when he brought them to the hospital, so he could do his rounds.
