I knew Jim for a number of years, mostly from playing Fastpitch softball. Our teams met in the first Ft Collins local cable televised Fastpitch softball game. That night it was planned for two game to be on TV, although only one was done, because our game lasted 14 innings. In the end Jims team won by a score of 1-0. My family was neighbors with Jim and his family for years in Sioux City. There are many happy memories of all of us as friends running the streets of the West Side. I am so sorry for this loss.

So sad to learn of Ray's passing. He was a great friend and kept in touch with many of his CHS class of '64. We usually had golf get-togethers, often hosted by Jim, who was a generous host, always ready to have a good time and very entertaining.
