Peace, love, patience, and calm is spread throughout the land as this wonderful spirit has risen from what was brought to all who experienced the gentle kindness, compassion, warmth and caring radiated from your being here in the mix on earth. May this sacred special spirit be remembered and carried on by those touched as life's sights, sounds, smells and flavors remind us of what's truly important while we are being here in this form.
It's not so much about what life throws at us but how we react and decide inside us to manage it.
May Raymond's touch in memory and living spirit assist us all in the positive management of our lives. Thank you Raymond, live on....

Ray, in the 25 years I knew you, I have always thought of you as a kind and wonderful person. So glad we got to go on some trips together. Like one of your favorite vacation spots...Aruba...with the divvy divvy trees. You seem to make friends every where you went with a smile and a kind word to everyone you met. When you came to Maine, you impressed even the long time woodsmen with the way you could work out in the woods clearing land. They still talk about you. And how about that lady that wanted to dance all night with you up in the far north woods of Portage Maine. I'm sure our Lord has a special place for you to rest and enjoy eternity. And keep them smiling up there. You'll be in our prayers and thoughts always.

I first met Ray in 1983 and we have been the best of friends ever since. The thing I liked most about Ray was his optimistic, uplifting attitude about life. Ray always had a smile on his face and had a way of cheering you up with his funny sayings. He was great hair stylist and took a lot of pride in making his customers happy. While Ray lived in Florida, we had a chance to spend a lot of time together doing our favorite thing.. 'going junking'. Whenever Ray would go into a flea market where the prices seemed to high, he would make the comment.. "this is like Saks of Fifth Avenue". Ray loved to cook his specialties and when he ate out, he would often say "ain't like mine". Ray had a big heart and would do anything he could to help a friend or neighbor. One of Ray's best traits was his honesty. If you asked Ray for an opinion, you better be prepared for the truth as he saw it. I will deeply miss a great friend and look forward to getting together in heaven. Rest in peace up on your mountain Ray.
