Raymond W. Yocum, 57, of Tamaqua, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, from injuries sustained while working on a car in Minersville.
Ray served in the United States Army. He enjoyed talking on CB radio, and working on cars.
Born in Pottsville, he was the son of Josephine (Bair) Keip, wife of David T. Keip of Tamaqua.
He is also survived by his daughters, Heather L. (Yocum) Founds of Summit Hill; Jada L. Yocum-McClure of Tuscarora; a sister, Jean Marie Scarloss and her husband, Paul of Tamaqua; and two grand-children, Czar T., and Deana D. Founds.
He was preceded in death by a infant son, Raymond W. Yocum; and infant sister, Melissa A. Keip.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013.
