I was just speaking about Dr. Dilawari the other day. The memory of him coming in my husbands´ room with a small group of students is fresh in my mind. Not only was he a GREAT surgeon; he was also a GREAT mentor for those bright minds! You will always be missed~

Dr. Dilawari did my melanoma removal surgery. I feel that God led me to him to save my life. When I found out I had melanoma, I got very scared. When I met Dr. Dilawari and saw the kindness and sincerity in his eyes, I felt at ease. I could hear God saying; "See, I told you to have faith in me and I would put you in good hands". I felt like my prayers were answered. I just knew everything was going to be alright. God bless his soul. He was an extraordinary human being and an iconic oncologist.
