Dear Dorie I'm sorry for your loss Read was a great guy and a honor to our profession God bless the Two of you Dan Endrizal DDS

My deepest sympathy to your family, Dorie & Barbara. I will always remember him fondly.

Dorie, sorry to read of Read's passing. He was such a kind man and we enjoyed boating with you two. I'm sorry I could not attend services as I was out of the country. Please know your family is in my prayers.

Dorie,Barb, and David, I just learned that Dr.B passed away. He was my dentist for 30 years, and so often he spoke of you all. I will always remember him with that twinkle in his eyes, and a smile on his face. My thoughts are with you, and my condolences for your loss (all of our loss). Happy sailing, Dr. B.

Barb, Jayne and I are deeply sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful man, a great storyteller and our family Dentist. Most of all he was a very nice man and brother Mason. God Bless you and your family in this time of deep loss. Sylvania will not be the same without Read Backus.

Barbara - I am so very sorry about your Dad's death. He was such a blessing to our community. On behalf of all of us at Lourdes University, please know your prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Read was an inspiration to citizens throughout the community. As a fellow Rotarian for many years his involvment was contagious. He will be missed. Your family has my sympathies.
