My sincerest sympathy goes to the family of Reba McClure. Her loss was a shock to me. I was the last department head Reba "broke in" during her years in agricultural communications. She chose to retire during my tenure at A&M as department head. Reba would correct me when I was wrong, advise me in so many wonderful ways and often treated me like a son. I remember how sad I was when she decided to retire.
Retired now myself, I have thought of Reba several times over the past year,...

I send my sincerest condolences to all of Reba's family and close friends.
I worked with Reba in Agricultural Communications for about seven months before she retired. She was a very special lady and we all loved her. We as a department have a lot of cherised stories about her. She will truly be missed.

She also always *checked role* in the morning to see who was present ... and she would answer the phone with her...
