Mrs. Reba Lucille Sheriff Hicks Morgan, age 93, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home. Born September 10, 1922 in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late Lester Garland and Callie Leona Watkins Sheriff. She was a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Reba retired from AT &T in 1987, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years. She is survived by her daughter, Sonja Camille Hicks of Lawrenceville, GA; step-daughter, Lydia Lynner and her husband, Robert of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Corbett Morgan; sisters, Ruth Sheriff Bruce and Ruby Sheriff; brother, Ray Myron Sheriff; grandchildren, Craig William Silveus and Stephanie Dawn Silveus; and her first husband, Sonja's Father, William Loyd Hicks. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Stanley Samuel officiating. Burial will follow at Toms Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Eric Silveus, Michael Bauml, Alexander Sindicic, Conor Marzec, Richard Sindicic, and Travis Wilson. Samuel Chase Silveus and Casey Silveus will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1pm until the service on Tuesday. Flowers are optional. Those desiring may make memorials to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, www.afsp.org or to the Seasons Hospice, 5775 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Suite C120, Atlanta, GA 30342. Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
