Not sure what to say?

I worked for Dr. Walker at the Child Study Center. She had great compassion toward the children she helped and their parents. I worked for her at a particularly difficult time in my life and her understanding and concern was remarkable. I think of her still and feel blessed to have known her.

We loved Reba and Linus and will always cherish our memories of our special neighbors across the street.

Birdsongs in heaven for a wonderful person whose Life List encompasses far more than the avian. Today is the official RSPB Garden Bird Count in Scotland; we'll do it your memory.

I have enjoyed the pleasant experience of working for Dr. Walker for over twenty years. She was a joy to talk to and offered good advice and thoughtful words. I will miss her and remember her friendship.

"There is a sacredness in tears:They are not the mark of weakness, but of power:they are messages of overwhelming grief and unspeakable love".-Washington Irving. I remember as a volunteer at Child Study Center years ago, how kind and patient she was with me.

So sorry for your loss. Your mother was a very special lady and I feel privilaged to have known her.

I know you have many, many special memories that you can recall from day to day.

Jan Wood, East Texas Trekkers

I worked for Dr Walker many years ago at the Child Study Center. I was going through a very difficult time in my life and she was so wonderfully supportive of me. Working for her was an honor and a priviledge and she was one of the most inspiring ladies I have ever known. I admired her greatly and I'm certain everyone who knew her felt the same way. She was an exceptional person and I have not known anyone like her since. Her family has my greatest sympathy on her loss. Ruth James

You were my teacher, my mentor, my friend. You will never know how much you have done for me in preparing for a career as a professional educational diagnostician. You taught me to value all children. You shared your beautiful thoughts through your poetry. You will be missed. Ardia
