Rebecca Jean Sheets Bibb Rebecca Jean Sheets Bibb, 70, of New Canton, Virginia, formerly of Waynesboro, Virginia, died Sunday, April 13, 2008. Born August 16, 1937, in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and Margaret Lafferty Sheets. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles R. Sheets Jr. and William D. Sheets. She is survived by her husband, Richard; a daughter, Lorrie Leigh Moneymaker and her husband, Jerry, of Scottsville, Virginia; three sons, Robert R. Sheets and his wife, Jane, of Lake Monticello, Palmyra, Virginia; Mark Steven Bibb and his wife, Sherry, of Charlottesville, Virginia; and Barry Ray Eggleston Bibb of Dillwyn; five sisters, Louise T. Meeks, Mary F. Gregory and Jacqueline Armstrong, all of Newport News, Virginia; Shirley M. Lafferty and Ray of Waynesboro, Virginia; and Brenda F. Bartley and Leroy of Grottoes, Virginia; also seven grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Welcome Wesleyan Methodist Church, Rt. 15, Arvonia, Virginia. The Reverend Gary Lafferty will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2008, at the Colbert Funeral Home in Bremo Bluff, Virginia. Friends may also call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, and after 10 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008.
