Rebecca Branscome Hawkins, 74 of Galax passed away, Wednesday August 13, 2025.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim Bolt and Ann Wright; two grandchildren, Timothy Landry and Sarah Wright; sister, Vicki Branscome Hash Duncan (Mark); nephews, Erick Hash (Chrissy) and Seth Hash (Jennifer).
Services will be held privately. McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg is serving the family.

Becky was a dear and sweet lady, who loved the Lord and let her light shine, everywhere and with everyone she met. I met her while working at SWVTC. Remembering her family with love, respect and prayers during their time of loss. God loves you all. He will comfort and give each of you the peace to move forward in his strength. Becky had that peace that passes all understanding. Thankful and blessed to have known Becky and called her my friend.

Becky was my first friend and through our scrapes and scraps we came through the other side as sisters. As it turned out she was my one and only best friend.
