Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home - Sebring Obituary

Rebecca Sue Lowe, lovingly known as Becky, age 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025, in Sebring, Florida. Born in Marion, Indiana, she was the cherished daughter of the late William Edward and Mary (Simons) Sproule. Becky made Florida her home for over six decades, bringing with her a heart full of faith, warmth, and generosity.

A devoted member of the Sebring Church of Christ for over 20 years, Becky’s love for the Lord was unwavering and deeply rooted in everything she did. Her gentle spirit and steadfast faith were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Becky found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cultivating her garden, losing herself in the pages of a good book, and exploring the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. She had an eye for art and cherished her impressive collection of Wade figurines, each piece a reflection of her appreciation for beauty and detail.

She is survived by her loving Husband – Arnold Lowe, Jr. of Sebring, FL; Sons – Andrew Lowe of Fort Pierce, FL; James Lowe of Sebring, FL; Thomas Lowe (Rachael) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Daughter – Mary Hussell (Christopher) of Cocoa, FL; Grandchildren – Nicholas Lowe, Timothy Lowe, Drew Lowe, Stephanie Ashley Lynch, Kristin Michelle Whissel, and Michael William Lowe; Great Grandchildren – Alexander Lynch and Evee Whissel.

Becky’s legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her grace, kindness, and deep love. She will be dearly missed but joyfully remembered.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring.
