Rebecca Lee Neel Matthews

Dr. David Matthews, we send our heartfelt sympathies and condolences. I was so very sorry to hear this morning of the passing of dear Rebecca. She was a very special friend to me and I feel devastated that almost a year has passed already before I found out.:( Baby number 3 is due in July and I will miss the "best lactation consultant ever" very keenly. As a former student of Dr. Matthews, I can attest to her tenacity for teaching and passion for helping vulnerable populations. She was by far a wonderful professor but more so a gracious, compassionate and beautiful person. The world has truly lost a "kind and shining" spirit but the heavens has gained an angel. I am so grateful to have been under your tutelage and to have met you. Fly high Dr. Matthews! Until we meet again...

Dave, no words except "well done thou good and faithful servant" can describe the real meaning of life on this side. Please accept my deepest condolences and my heartfelt rejoicing that Rebecca is now in her reward. Praying for strength and peace for you.
