Rebecca Reath McCloud

of Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday morning at IU Arnett. She was 70.

Becky was very active with the D.A.R. and served in many officer positions. She was also a member of the Linden Conservation Club. She liked reading, fishing, going to Florida and loved her pets. She worked 30 years at Hi-Tek Lighting and then at Houghton Fluid Care in Lafayette. She was currently employed part-time at Home Depot.

Born March 24, 1947 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Andrew Edwards and Evelyn Crowder Edwards. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School, class of 1965. She married Leslie Reath on Sept. 1, 1966. He passed away May 29, 1994. She married Ralph D. McCloud in 2003 and he survives.

Surviving family includes: her husband, Ralph Dean McCloud of Crawfordsville; daughter, Luanne Reath of Indianapolis; son, David Reath of New Richmond; granddaughter, Kailyn Cox of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Andrea Edwards of Lafayette and Martha Campfield of New Richmond.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery North, led by Dr. Curtis Brouwer.
