Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autums's rain.

We first met Rebecca when our son joined the Livermore soccer team. She was the first to greet us and fill us in on what the team would be doing. We were impressed with her generosity, wit and just overall goodness. She along with her family are in our prayers and her presence touched us and many others in a way we will always remember.

I was a classmate of Rebecca at Livermore High School (1985). My date and I went to our Senior Ball with her and her date. I also had the pleasure of working with Rebecca at the Velvet Creamery during our high school days. Even though I never saw her after High School, I always remeber her as an incredibly kind and generous person and I am truly saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family...may God bless you all and give you peace. ~David Francis
