ROBERTS, Rebecca Rebecca "Becky" Sue Heydinger Roberts, 42, of Hanahan, SC and the wife of Luther Thomas Roberts, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. Becky was born in Bucyrus, OH, a daughter of Daniel Leroy Heydinger and Helena Mary Kreim Heydinger on Monday, September 9, 1963. She was a graduate of Seneca East High School, Class of 1981. Becky was the Supervisor at Holy Cross Cemetery before becoming the Office Manager for E.J. McCarthy & Sons Monument Co. She was also an accomplished pianist, playing for several area churches including, Remount Baptist Church, First Baptist of North Charleston and most recently of Creekside Christian Advent Church, to which she was a member of. Becky is survived by her loving husband, Luther Thomas Roberts, Jr. of Hanahan, SC; her parents, Daniel and Helena Heydinger of Willard, OH; a sister; Rose Zuber of Columbus, OH; two brothers, Jeffrey Heydinger and his wife Sue of Kansas City, MO, Randall Heydinger and his wife Lisa of Arlington, VA; three children, Justin J. Parker, Kara R. Parker, Alyssa R. Parker all of Hanahan, SC; eleven nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews; four step children, Jon Roberts and his wife Sharon, Jan Requena and her husband Rudy, Michael Leahy and his wife Chanda, Ryan Leahy and his wife Cassandra; five step - grandchildren, Anthony Requena, Andrew Requena, Rudy Requena, Jr., Ivey Leahy and Rachel Leahy. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Daniel Heydinger in 1978 and Brian Paul Heydinger in 2006. Becky and her warm welcoming smile that could light up a room will be deeply missed by all who loved her. The family will be receiving visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, July 17, 2006 at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. The relatives and friends of Rebecca "Becky" Sue Heydinger Roberts are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at the James A. McAlister Chapel.
