Not sure what to say?

Dear Roy Schaefer and Family, Our heartfelt condolences on Becky´s passing. Her kindness and her impact on the Berkshire East community will never be forgotten. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Warmly, Jim & Stephanie Collins New Zealand

Becky was such a sweetheart. Warm and seriously restrained in her demeanor, treating me (not just me, for sure) with a compassionate inquiry, offering so much, always truthful. My condolances go out to those who miss her most, family and friends, for it is a loss for the community.

Mrs. Schaefer was one of my favorite elementary teachers at Charlemont, and I still remember her kindness all these years later. She made a lasting impression on me and so many of her students. I am keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I always enjoyed the times we attended when Roger Salloom and the Stragglers played at the mountain. Wonderful memories. RIP

Mrs. Schaefer was one of the kindest people I ever met. She was a tremendous teacher who went the extra mile for so many children. My condolences to the Schaefer family.

Mrs. Schaefer was my 4th grade teacher and the best teacher I´ve ever had. She always knew how to get her students engaged and made learning fun. She ignited my love and respect for the environment at a young age and helped shape me into the activist I am today. In 4th grade, many of her lessons revolved around the importance taking care of our environment and the world around us. For one assignment, I created a poster outlining the importance of recycling. Mrs. Schaefer beamed with...

Becky Schaefer was the best teacher I worked with in all the schools where I taught elementary music. She was patient and kind and had a great sense of humor. She had a gentle firmness when kids were being difficult, and they responded. She was well-loved, both at Hawlemont and in the community. The mountain and Charlemont will miss her.

Becky was a friend of the Flaherty family for over 50 years. No words for how much we respected and admired her. So many of her good deeds were from the heart. She expected no recognition for her contributions that benefited our community. We valued her friendship over the years and she will be solely missed. Deepest condolences to the Schaefer family.
