Not sure what to say?

Dr. Steele was angel sent by God to afford me an a high quality education under full scholarship. (To this day I dont know how she knew me, nor how I ended up in the Concert Chorale!) I wasnt a singer or musician. Neither did I audition! She summoned me upon my arrival at B-CC as a freshmen and I answered her call. In short, Dr Steele invited ( more like commanded) me to be a member of the renowned B-CC Concert Chorale. The four years that followed as a member of the B-CC Concert...

Mrs. Steele, you will forever be in my heart and missed dearly. I've been missing you for a long time. Since you left FAMU. I LOVED YOU THEN and surely love you. RIP. BARBARA JEAN WILLIAMS. CLASS OF 1970.

I was afforded the opportunity to hear BCC Chorale under the baton of Dr Steele while I student at the University of Florida in 1974. WOW. I called my music teacher, the late Anne Groover Williams and informed her of my experience. Come to find out that Mrs Williams mother, Mariah Gilliam taught and worked with Dr Steele during college days. It is a blessing to know of and to see a genius in action. To the family, be forever blessed

I recall the first time Dr.Steele became the choir director at BCC. "Ms. Tu sing the solo part to Amazing Grace!" I was sooo scared! She was so much fun and appeared to LOVE what she did in life. Condolences to her family and a job well done!

We celebrate Dr. Steele's exemplary life and ministry and thank God for her didicated service to the community. She will be missed my many.
