Rebecca Marie Zuber

Rebecca "Becky" Marie Zuber, born February 15, 1968, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. She was the daughter of Daniel Zuber, Sr. and Shirley Zuber.

She achieved much in spite of the adversity that life threw at her. She received three degrees, including her Masters Degree from Phoenix University after moving to North Carolina. Becky had many obstacles very early in life that could have ruined her if she allowed it. Instead, she chose to rise above it all through her strength, compassion, and love for others. She had a wonderful smile and laugh that would brighten your day.

She found much love and support from her employers of many years, Bharat “Big Papa” Patel and his wife Daxa Patel. They were an important influence after her relocation from Florida. She was also very fond of Theresa Morris and her four grandchildren and Mary Caldwell was a close and dear friend.

Her passing is mourned by her brother, Daniel Zuber, Jr. and his wife Stacy; her nieces, Courtney Chatham and Sarah Abbott; her sister, Deborah Smith Barber; and her nephews, Steven Henderson and Alex Ledger. She leaves behind a larger extended family: two nieces, two nephews, and twenty-two great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 12:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
