“Mama Reecie” as she was lovingly called, stated that she only received a tenth grade education, but you would think she possessed a Masters in Humanity.  She loved the Lord and often wondered why He had kept her here so long.  “Mama Reecie” was a member of First Christian Community Church in Dayton, Tennessee and attended faithfully until her health declined.

She leaves to cherish her memory her youngest son, Harvey Julian (Barbara) Doughty of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and two daughters, Janice Johnson and Brenda (Charles) Johnson of Spring City, Tennessee, 9 grandchildren:  Jana’ Johnson of Spring City, Tennessee, Steven (Rachel) Johnson of Athens, Tennessee, Carrie Ann Johnson of Harriman, Tennessee, Olivia Cox of Dayton, Tennessee, Anitra (Corey) Griffin of Washington, D.C., Angela (Derrick) Henry of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Kimberly Parker of Southfield, Michigan, Kena (Ricky) Swift of Smyrna, Tennessee, Darryl Doughty of Detroit, Michigan.  14 great grandchildren plus one on the way, Teagan Johnson, Amara Henry, Alayah Henry, Derrion Henry, Dervana Henry, Dean Parker Jr., Dylan Parker, Dixon Parker, Darien Parker, Gesalle Gregory, Kendon Carter, Kaiden Carter, Kayla Doughty, Chanelle Doughty.

Not sure what to say?

To The Johnson Family:

I WILL lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The LORD shall preserve they going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Love, Peace, Joy, and Comfort be with you.

Love,
