Not sure what to say?

I knew Reed since he was a little boy in Oberlin. He was my best friend's son, and so I knew of him from letters and later emails that I would receive from his mother, after they moved to Arizona. Reed was a kind, generous, and creative person. I remember reading a short story he once wrote about riding his bike around Oberlin with his sister. He was an excellent tennis player, he loved animals, and he was a source of comfort to his mother when she was critically ill, staying by her side...

I had the honor of working with Reed for over 10 years. He was by far, the best English teacher Douglas CAS has ever had. We were friends and I am heart broken that he is gone. Rest in peace my friend and may your family find comfort in knowing you were deeply loved by your students and coworkers

I was one of his students that he had last year. I would have to say he was one of the most loved teachers at my school. Whenever I was having a rough time or had issues going on, he would talk to me about it and help me find ways to move through those issues. It's sad to see that he is gone but may he rest in peace. My condolences to your family, he was an amazing man and a great teacher.

I worked with Reed in Douglas, he was an extremely intelligent person and always had so much knowledge to share with all who crossed his path. I had so many conversations with him that made me feel like I had learned so much in so little time. He was kind and honest. My condolences to his family and friends.
