Reed Gardner

I am deeply moved by Reed’s passing. I knew both Reed and his wife, Marvel. I worked with Reed as far back as when he installed Medlabs at St Lukes in Phoenix (the Ostlers his partner at Medlabs were all involved at various stages of two of my companies, EMTEK and Carefx). He was so much a part of what I am. I can tell you that he was always a gentleman first and then a pragmatist. He moved our industry into our initial thinking of how we should take care of patients. My sincerest condolences. I had the opportunity and privilege to work for Reed when he ran KCVLS. His passion for making legal services available to all leaves an indelible impact to so many, to include me. I was so excited to get the call from Reed that I had been selected to work as an CWU student intern at KCVLS. I loved his personal mission to serve the underserved community members.

I regret not connecting with him once...

Reed was one of the only people to try to help me through a very dark time. I will never forget the care and work he provided me through Volunteer Legal Services.
