I remember watching Reed conduct the Lamar High School mixed chorus. He was a gifted natural comedian.

He was the best English teacher. Canterbury Tales - anyone who had him knows what I´m talking about!. Sold boats as a second job during those days.....Class of `75 Good man & great soul

I was telling a co-worker about you today and how much fun you were as a teacher at Robert E. Lee, Houston. As I was searching to find information about you as Chester Charge of the Astros, I saw where you passed. Thank you for all the memories and being a great teacher.

Valerie Cooper Sisk, Class of 1982

Miss you, Reed. Sorry I didn't get a chance to see you prior to your departure. I really, really enjoyed your company.. or me being yours.
