Mr. Pendleton was my 7th and 8th grade chorus teacher. I had many wonderful memories of a musical that he and his wife produced, "The Wizard of Oz." I enjoyed singing Christmas carols and being in the Christmas parade.
Some of the songs that we sang was"Everybody Needs a Friend", " Music is in the Air" and " You've Got a Friend." I am 58 years old and still remember the words to most of these songs. Mr. Pendleton taught me to believe in myself. I was very shy, but he...

Mr Pendleton taught me how to play the flute and inspired my love for music that has lasted throughout my lifetime. I hadn’t played the flute in 25 years until about a year ago, and as I picked up my flute for the first time again, I thought of Mr Pendleton and his many pieces of advice as I taught myself how to play again. He touched so many livescertainly many more than he even realized. Keeping him and his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Jerry was a fine Christian Man who contributed a Lot to the work of the Lord.
