Regina "Reggie" Ann Mullen, 62 of Granite City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital St. Louis, MO. Reggie was born on May 26, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, a daughter to the late Thomas and JoAnn (Mills) Conrad. On March 17, 1978, Reggie Conrad married Michael Mullen, the love of her life in Granite City, IL. She was a member of the Sisterhood and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Granite City, IL. She was a huge supporter of the church and Granite City High School. Reggie enjoyed aerobics, reading and taking care of children, she was a mom to everyone. She loved her animals, summer and Christmas; her greatest love was taking care of her family, whom she adored. Reggie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mikey Mullen and brother, Doug Conrad. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Mullen; five wonderful children, Michele (Joe) Stabinsky of Granite City, IL, Brandi (Andrew) Verdu of Belleville, IL, Patrick Mullen of Shenzhen, China, Scott Mullen of San Juan, Puerto Rico and Marc Mullen of Granite City, IL; adoring granddaughter Isabel Stabinsky; dear sister, Lee (Keith) Champion of Ballwin, MO; two nieces Claire and Julia Champion; nephew, Christopher Champion and many friends. Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Rd. Granite City, IL. In celebration of her life, Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Granite City, IL with Father Chris Comerford officiating. Memorial donations may be given to Scleroderma Foundation, Missouri Chapter, P.O. Box 4123, Springfield, MO 65808 and will be accepted at the funeral chapel. irwinchapel.com
