SSG Nelom was the best leader I ever had. I will never forget him.

I was serving in Iraq at the same time SSG Nelom and his team were. I remember the day that we received the news of this tragedy. I always remember you in my thoughts on Memorial Day. Thank you for your service and May you Rest In Peace

Memorial Day is almost here and the thoughts of losing a great leader has been hitting me hard lately. You always had a smile and an open ear for soldiers. You are truly missed. May you rest in peace SSG Nelom.

As one more year goes by I remember you today like if It was yesterday. Ten years has gone by and still hurts like the first day. Thank you for been you and always leading your troop the way you did. I love you SSG Nelom. GoNE but never forgotten.
