Regina Dolores Goepferich, 88

Regina Dolores Goepferich of Lake Wales passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at Fellowship Home at the Fairway.

She was born September 30, 1932 in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts to the late Uldrick and Isabelle Senez. She moved to Lake Wales from Fort Lauderdale in 1985. Regina was a homemaker and attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lake Wales. She volunteered at Lake Wales Hospital for many years and liked to cruise, read, crochet, and spend time with her family.

Regina was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Goepferich in 2013; and son, Robert A. Goepferich. She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Stephens (Gary) of Lake Wales; sons, John A. Goepferich of Lake Wales, and Paul M. Goepferich; sister, Irene Lavoie (Phil) of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Adrian Goepferich (Danielle) of Austin, Texas, John Goepferich (Tina), Michael Goepferich (Meagan), Jennifer Strickland (Chris), Jason Lamson, Gary Stephens Jr., (Amber), Christine Ovitt (Nate), Corinne Quattlebaum (Tyrell) and Matthew Goepferich; and 23 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2021 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at 205 5th Street North, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
