The George and Lindland families are deeply saddened by the loss of Regina Tobin (58)(nee George)(John), Graham Connery Tobin (15) and Natalie Anne Tobin (15). They died suddenly on August 30, 2020 in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

They are survived by Regina's brother John (Jennifer Lampshire) George, and sisters Jane Anne (Al Fiesel) George and Melissa (Matthew) Lindland. They were preceded in death by Regina's mother Nancy Jane Connery of Chicago.

Regina served as current co-secretary and was co-president from 2018-2019 of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of CISV (Children's International Summer Village), an independent volunteer organization dedicated to educating and inspiring peace through cultural exchange. In 2017, Natalie, when she was 11 years old, served as a US delegate in the CISV Village program in Porvoo, Finland, and had planned to travel this summer to Jacksonville, Fla., to continue her work with the program. In 2018, at 13 years old, Graham represented the US as a delegate to the family Interchange program with CISV in Linz, Austria.

They will be painfully missed by their adoring cousins Cuyler Fiesel, Zeke George, and Clara, Robert, Christopher and Jane Lindland as well as many second cousins, extended family members fondly known as "aunts" and "uncles" and countless friends.

Regina, a breast cancer survivor, will be remembered for her beauty, skill at interior architecture, style, ability to conquer fixer-upper homes as well as her love of travel, adventure and happy gatherings that brought together family and many, many kind friends. Becoming a friend of Regina's meant you had a friend for life. Known as Aunt Wer to many, she never missed acknowledging a birthday or milestone of her brother, sisters, nieces and nephews.

The center of this loving universe were her twins. Graham's love of nature, skateboarding, pinpoint joke-telling and skill at computers will be sorely and forever missed. Natalie's warmth, athletic ability in volleyball and love of reading of an unknown number of books will be held dear to us in memory.

In her own words, Regina found CISV "matched her strong belief in equality, justice, diversity and a global village." In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NE Ohio Chapter of Children's International Summer Villages via this link.
The George and Lindland families are planning services to take place at a future time. For further information and to sign the guestbook, please log online to:

Not sure what to say?

I miss the twins. We went to school together in Hudson they were some of the kindest friends I ever had and their parents were kind to me and I will never forget any of them. I wish I hadn’t moved so I got to see them longer. We played and traded Pokémon all the time.

Natalie was one of my best friends in elementary and middle school. I knew her very well and saw her everyday at lunch and recess. I will miss her forever.

happy 16th birthday natalie. i love you so much

Troop 91577 found some closure and comfort on an unimaginable tragedy. Last week, we laid your memorial plaque at the base of your living tree at the Twinsburg Library. May you Rest In Peace. Punch bug from your camping and travel buddy, Malaya!

today is natalie and graham’s 16th birthdays, happy birthday

Happy belated birthday, beautiful Regina. We remembered you this weekend at your tree and all the ways you advocated for us, laughed with us, and inspired us. I laugh thinking of all the times we chuckled at Graham's transformation when Rachel would visit ("Can Rachel come tell Graham to do his chores?") or the antics of our dogs playing in the new back yard ending with our Teddy wondering why he couldn't walk on water. Rachel will treasure her many sweet memories with Natalie at camp, school...

I was lucky enough to have Natalie as a camper last summer. She had a gentle demeanor, deep kindness, and a beautiful heart.

My deepest condolences in the passing of Regina, Natalie and Graham. They were kind, caring, friendly, respectful, and an asset to their community. We met four years ago when Natalie became a member of our Hudson Girl Scout Troop. Regina transported Natalie to Sunday afternoon meetings where our troop of six members created a bond of friendship that will be forever treasured. Natalie’s presence in the many activities that we shared will be sadly missed. She helped run the annual World...

I just met Graham about a month ago at freshman orientation because we were going to the same high school. It was by chance that I decided to sit at the same lunch table as him. Now I realize how that minor decision at the time has made such a big impact on me now. During that lunch period, I talked to Graham and two other people. I had so much fun getting to know Graham and his amazing personality and humor that immediately after the orientation, I texted two of my friends talking about this...
