Rigby Harting and Hagan Funeral Home - Media Obituary

Regina Clare Gurak, 70, passed away on June 13, 2022 at her home in Coatesville, PA.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Irving Gurak, who passed away on September 25, 2021.  She was born Regina Clare McNellis on January 22, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA.  She was the third of six children of Edward and Mary Rita McNellis.

Regina worked hard at many jobs throughout her life, but was always able to take time to do the things she loved.  She enjoyed traveling, playing golf, cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends.  She was the 'Hostess with the Mostest", happiest when everyone was at her home.  She was the best Buba to her six grandchildren, who never passed up the chance to sleep over, play games, watch movies, and have chocolate-chocolate chip cake for breakfast.

Regina is survived by her children, Lorrie (Frank) Costanzo, Chantelle (Bradley) Yamrick, Edward (Jackie Ball) Goebig; grandchildren, Spencer and Kyle Costanzo, Adam and Sarah Yamrick, and Jake and Julia Goebig; her siblings, Edward (Lynda) McNellis, Thomas (Carol Anne) McNellis, Stephen (Kathleen) McNellis, Marilyn Winokur, and Joseph (Irene) McNellis: many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Regina's family would like to thank Main Line Hospice and Help U Care, especially Janet Wiggins, for all their care and support during Regina's last few weeks of life.

Over the next few days, family and friends will be received for condolences at Regina's home, 241 Stoyer Rd, Coatesville, PA.

Services will be announced at the completion of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House. support.rmhc.org

She was the greatest, most caring friend. I loved her.

She was our special, fun friend. We will miss her so much.❤❤

Cousin Regina will be missed by many Loved when we got together Many fond memories we now have a Another Angel watching over us Praying for comfort over her children , grandchildren and siblings Deepest sympathy for famill

Regina was my first female friend. We went all through grade school and High School together and doubled on our senior prom. We use to dance to our Motown music in her parent´s living room and had dinner at each other´s parent´s home and went to dances on Sunday nights at Concord. Even when our lives took different paths, we seemed to touch base over the years. She was always kind and was supportive through some of my tough times in life. I will always remember her for her kindness. ...

We were so lucky to know and love Regina. She was the most positive person I have known. Her love for Irv and all family is a shining example to all of us.

Although I did not know Regina, I know she had to have been an Angel, being the sister of my dear friend and Angel incarnate, Marilyn. Rest In Eternal Peace, Regina.
