REGINA LYONS LITTLE

I remember joining the Loften faculty in 1992 and Regina who was our media specialist being extremely concerned that the children enrolled in the school based childcare center be provided every opportunity to "experience" books. I remember the childcare staff at the time being protective of the books, but Regina would say to me "Angela, it's ok if they put them in their mouths, chew them, if a page gets ripped, I just want to see them with books". Rest in peace, my friend. I cherish our many years at Loften, our daily lunch breaks, the trip to DC and my guided tour of "The City," the weekends at the lake & our trips to NC. You've left a wonderful legacy in Scott and Maggie and the grands! Your dedication to your family and friends will never be forgotten.
