Smith, Bizzell & Warner Funeral Home Obituary

Regina Louise Mobley was born on May 20,1964 in Gary, Indiana to Joyce Ann Griffin and Jesse Lee Mobley.

Regina was known by her family and friends as “Icky”. She was a 1982 Graduate of Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana.

Regina confessed her hope in Christ at an early age. She joined First AME Church in 2014 under the leadership of the late Pastor Emmanuel J. Vaughn Sr. God blessed her with 6 beautiful children.

Regina was an employee of the Gary Gleason Golf Course and volunteered at many other Missionary Churches.

She was known for her kind heart and giving back and known for her outstanding cooking skills.

If you knew Icky you knew she loved her children, grandchildren, and The Isley Brothers.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Joyce A Griffin, father, Jesse L Mobley, and sister, Kathy L Taylor.

On Friday, May 5, 2023, the Lord embraced Regina in his arms and folded her in his love and exchanged her earthly time for eternity.

Regina will be missed by her six loving children: Raeisha L Knight, Roshaunta L Knight, Racquel L Knight, Rashad L Knight, Diamond A Weston, Robert Weston III all of Gary, Indiana; four grandchildren: Rashaun Drayton, Sharaya Smith, Zechariah Hemphill, and Rashad Knight; her loving life long partner, Robert Weston; sister, Jacqueline (Ricky) Brown of Minneapolis, MN; nephews: Emile D Randolph, Marcellus L Brown and Linell Hicks; niece, Jacquita I Hicks; two dearest friends: Sable Wright and Myra James; godchildren: Tiara Bluiett, Raven McIntosh, Leche Williams and Cortez Collins and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.
