Feerick Funeral Home - Shorewood Obituary

(née Cappio) Entered the fullness of Eternal Life on January 17, 2025, at the age of 91.

Cherished wife of the late Robert Benjamin Multer. Regina is survived by her three loving daughters Susan (George) Garofalo, Linda (Murf) Multer Murphy, and Clare (the late Jeff) Multer. Further survived by her beloved grandchildren Caitlin (Tom), Brian, Alissa (Ryan), Laura (David), and Max, as well as great-grandson Weston James and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Peter and Laura Cappio (née Sanzero) and her three siblings Peter, Joseph, and Anna.

Regina was born in Patterson, New Jersey on September 13, 1933. Later raised in Great Neck, New York, where she met her future husband Robert in high school. After high school, Regina attended nursing school in New York and received her RN degree. As a registered nurse she always enjoyed working in maternity, later working as a school nurse in Weston, Connecticut.

After Robert’s return from the Korean conflict in 1955, the two were married and raised their children in Little Neck, New York, and Weston, Connecticut. After Robert retired, the two moved to Beverly Hills, Florida where they remained until Robert’s passing in 2017. During their time in Florida, while Robert enjoyed golfing, Regina became a master gardener always enjoying the outdoors. Over the years, she became close friends with Sonia Seward of Beverly Hills, Florida. In 2022, Regina moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to be close to her children and grandchildren.

Special thanks to the staff and nurses at Azura and Allay for their loving care.

Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Regina’s name are greatly appreciated.
