Regina is survived by her Wife Tawna Walters, her Father Morris Turner, her Mother Delca Cantrell, her Brother Scott Turner, her Sister Rena Hearn, two Sons Zachary Ivey, and Tyler Ivey, her Daughter Delaney Rhew, and her Granddaughter Avreigh Rhew. She had an Associates Degree in English from Illinois Central College, and had many published works, and many more that were enjoyed by family and friends throughout her life. As a young woman she served her country as a part of the army reserves and concluded her service with an honorable discharge. She was a dedicated business owner for many years, as long as her health would allow. She enjoyed riding Jet Skis, traveling, and had a great love of the moon and stars. She had a great interest in all thing unknown, and although she was not a religious person, she was very spiritual. Our beloved Wife, Daughter, Sister, Mother, and Grandmother will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
My Cold Of Gold
"Oh Honey," I said,
"It's just a small cold,
I'll be fit as a fiddle
in a few days or so."
A few days had come and gone.
The flu had set in
and the cough just hung on.
"Well, Doctor, you see,
I was feeling just fine,
but now here lately,
I'm sick all the time.
My stomach just churns,
I'm so tired and weak.
My get up and go
just wants to sleep."
The Doctor, he prodded,
he poked and he checked,
then he explained,
"We must run a test."
"A baby, you say!
Oh, Doc, are you sure?"
"Yes, for this kind of cold,
we don't have a cure."
I laughed to myself
as I thought... "A small cold"...
This blessed event,
my Cold of Pure Gold.
