Not sure what to say?

I just came across Reggie's obituary & regret that I didn't stay in touch with him over the years.
Reggie was my neighbor on Belmont ave in Richmond back in 1979. Last time I saw him was around 1993 or so.
He was a quite a memorable character. Lot of fun.

I was looking for my favorite cousin, and found this obituary. Crying, so sad! I love you Reggie!!

So sorry to hear of Reggie's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Mike.

Reggie was my friend and partner in 1982 when we lived on Mulberry Street in Richmond. We loved living in The Fan. I commuted to Ft. Lee every day, while Reggie worked downtown. At night we would tell each other our daily work stories in front of the fireplace. I will miss you Reggie.

Reggie was a wonderful person and a very loyal friend, he worked and was my husband Dan's supervisor in the tax enforcement dept for the city of Richmond. and taught Dan so very much, he had such a wealth of knowlege and had such a quick wit and the most wonderful laugh .. He became a very large part of our family life for many years and very close to us and our son when he was so small and now 31.. He attended our son's graduation in 2000 and then seems we lost total contact.. Could not...

I am so sorry for your loss. Reggie was a huge part of me and boy's life when we were struggling. He has been out of my life for so many years but I will remember him fondly for the kindness he showed my boys. God bless and god speed Reggie. I know you have peace say hi to Charlotte and mark for me. My prayers out to Reggie's family.

Reggie was one of the funniest men I have ever known. I will always remember how he made me laugh on Christmas eve.I think I looked forward to that almost as much as I looked forward to Santa coming. He will be missed. Everyone needs one uncle like him.

Words cannot express how broken hearted I am to hear about Reggie passing. He and I met back in 1971 when he interviewed me for the position of Senior Secretary to the Deputy Dir. of Social Services and the Fraud Unit. It was because of Reggie that I experienced such a long and lucrative career with that department. We became the best of friends and shared many happy and sad times together. I felt as if Mr. Jack, Ms. Dorothy and Aunt Jean were part of my family and Reggie felt the same...

My thoughts and prayers go out to Reggie's family. I was fortunate to work with Reggie when he brought fraud cases to the Police Department. It was a great pleasure working with him as he had an easy-going presence, a quick smile and always a laugh to share. He was a good man and friend. Rest In Peace.
