Not sure what to say?

I am stunned to hear of Reggie's passing. I worked for him years ago, in the 80's, around the time of "divestiture" and been Googling him, wondering what had become of him when I saw the news of his death. It was many years ago, but I clearly he was on my mind. Please pass along my condolences to his family.

To the Bentivogli family, I offer my deepest sympathy. I have wonderful memories of Mr. B and our time together on the Green Lightning.

I am so sorry to hear of Reggie's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this most difficult time. I will always remember family get togethers while we were growing up and will always smile when I think of how Reggie called me Lasagna Sonya.

Reggie was such an important part of my teenage years where he was a great coach and mentor. His intensity, understanding and knowledge of the game was a key component of our success. I will never forget all the great times we had and the profound influence he had on so many lives. We were lucky to share a part of life with Reggie. God bless you Reggie.

I am so sorry for you loss. I never saw two faces light up an entire room as they did when Reg and Vivian were together. All of you are in my prayers. May the comfort of others and the memories keep you strong. With sympathy and love, Karen Kohut Mclaughlin

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Reggie's passing. My dad was very much involved in American Legion baseball when Reggie coached. Reggie was a great guy and very much respected. I know and worked with Vivian, not to mention my sister and Vivian were friends in high school ... My deepest sympathies to everyone. You are all in my prayers.

My sincere condolences to the Bentivogli family during your time of bereavement. I worked with Reggie in Accounting at Western Electric (Bell System) in Princeton a very long time ago but remember him well. My thoughts and prayers again to the family.

Dear Vivian,

We are so saddened by Reg's passing. You both have always been wonderful to Dave and I, and our kids especially. We will always have many fond memories of spending time with you and Reg - whether at the beach, or family parties, or Christmas Eve dinners. We have been lucky to have you in our lives. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We will see you on Saturday. In the meantime, and always, please know that we are there for you!

Sincerely,
