Not sure what to say?

Mr. Reginald Ciokajlo always had a very kind heart. He married my cousin Beverly. I always remember Reginald as a good friend and teacher. He always wanted to make the world a better place by doing his best to help the community in any way he could help. My Cousin Beverly and him were so kind to take me out to lunch with them. We all had good talks and we would say our prayers of thanks whenever we had a chance to be together.

Condolences and Prayers to the Ciokajlo family.

Our condolences to Bev and the whole family at the death of a great man. Our prayers are of gratitude to God for the gifts shown in Reg's life. One of my images is of Reg and Bev in weekly presence at the 4PM Saturday Liturgy of the Eucharist, attentively close to the altar. We fondly remember participating in their 50th anniversary of marriage. And we look forward with them to the heavenly wedding feast.

Mr. Ciokajlo was assistant principal at Hutchins Junior High School when I started teaching Spanish in the fall of 1964. He was a great mentor to the many new teachers who had been assigned there that year. After leaving Hutchins, he would send congratulatory notes to me when I became Foreign Language Dept Head, assistant principal, and principal during my career. HE WAS A TEACHER'S TEACHER. School districts could really benefit from more people like him.
