Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions - Hampton Obituary

Reginald Carl Edwards, 76, passed away at home on June 15, 2023.  Born in Rocky Mount, NC, he was a Hampton Roads resident for more than 70 years.   


Reggie served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart.  In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and always enjoyed the outdoors.  He lived life on his own terms and never compromised his beliefs. 


Reggie was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Pallister and parents, Fred and Elsie Edwards.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deanna Edwards; daughter, Wendy Drys (David); son-in-law, Dennis Pallister; brothers, Norman Edwards (Bonnie) and Ted Edwards (Lorraine); grandchildren, Kaydence Drys, Sydney Pallister, Trevor Drys and A.J. Pallister.  


In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sharon Baptist Church (sharonbaptisthamptonva.com) or your favorite charity.
