Pastor Mitchell was a great man and a dedicated follower of Christ who didn't seem to have a judgmental bone in his body. I am deeply saddened to find out about his passing. I left both Allen A.M.E. and the United States in 2010 and just now discovered this unfortunate news. I loved him, will always remember him fondly, and one day perhaps will debate the finer points of Scripture with him, once again, in the Kingdom.
