Not sure what to say?

Think of him daily. Recently I retired and his teachings live on with the associates I managed. His memory at BPM and Shaws will last generations

Dear Gloria, I feel so sad to hear of Reggies passing. It seems like yesterday that we were all working together at BPM Main Street lunch counter during our High School Days.. It was always a fun time when we worked under Reggie, he was a wonderful "Boss" and had a Big Heart.. We knew when it was business and when we could have a food fight.. Great memories to be never forgotten.. also a happy time in his life when he married you. I will never forget him and wish you and your family my...

Gloria, ... Reggie was an amazing manager and boss. I and my two sisters had all worked at the good ol'
BPM in Brockton during our high school years. He was the BEST manager and very highly respected by all of us who had the opportunity to work for him. As stern as he was most of the time, he made sure that there was time for fun and laughter also. I am sure you will miss him and please find some comfort in knowing he was treasured and respected by many.

Gloria, I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Stanbrook was a great man. He hired me in 1971 and I'm still working for Shaw's. He gave me a break once I was greatful. I work hard everyday in his memory on the sales floor, he taught me what was imporant. A mentor before the word was ever used. The list of associates that became sucessful under Reggie was the longest on the company. I'm proud to of worked an new Mr. Stanbrook.

My parents send their regards from Japan. They sent me an e-mail and they want me to translate it- here it is. Yoshino

From my father:
"Reggie Grampa has passed away... I remember him very well. I remember that we had a firm hand shake on top of the wood deck. I remember the shining light in his eyes, too. I am thankful that he was there celebrating Chris&Yoshino's wedding. I wish he could have lived 10 more years, but no one can do anything about it. Isn't 86 years...
