Fond memories of my boss from 1980 to 1989, who had a strong work ethic, excellent sense of humour and who was a quintessential gentleman who made going to work something to look forward to. Dearly loved father of Ian, father-in-law of Betty. Grandad of Cameron, Kirsten and Shannon. Great-Grandad of Ella, Denby, Josie, Brooke, Lucy, Liam, Regan, Aiden and Grace. Born to very humble tough beginnings but went on to lead from the front. An outstanding example of the value of commitment and hard work. Very respected family man, wartime RAAF fitter, Morawa farmer and State Politician. Heart breaking to end all this with a final couple of very tough...
