Not sure what to say?

Mr. Hutter was our high school music teacher. A simple statement, but his gift was truly profound. His skill, his passion, his faith in his students and his ability to identify and nurture their talents was extraordinary. We loved him then and we respect him even more now as we witnessed through the years his courage and faith. Regis and Maja set an enviable example of faith, love, grace, humor and devotion to each other that has been an inspiration and blessing for us all. May their...

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Hutter! I have nothing but fond memories and love for him. He took us (students at Red Jacket Central) to "places" we had never been before as a chorus - in madrigals, plays, all-county, all-state, etc. He never rested. He wanted us to be our best and we were. I learned so much from him about hard work and staying with it, till it was right. There is not a holiday time of year that goes by that I don't think of him fondly. I'm so thankful to have had a...

To The Entire Hutter Family:

Regis possessed an incredible talent to introduce and inspire the love of music to everyone that he met. His legacy of teaching will live on in multiple generations to come. I feel fortunate to have been taught by such a professional...you all should be proud of his accomplishments and the many lives that he touched.

Your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Regis shared his great talent and enriched the lives of many students. It is a great legacy. Our family has memories of happy times camping in the early days at Williamson, and of the companionship of both Regis and Maja.

To the Hutter family...My name was Valerie Thies and I lived in Fredonia, NY, when Regis was in college. He roomed at my grandmother's house. He wrote a song about me that was quite funny. My husband and family lived in Victor for many years. I believe we only saw Regis and Maija one or two times.
Believe it or not I learned of Regis' death in, Arizona. We left Victor in January of 2006 to be closer to our children and grandchildren. My husband who was a former Victor Town supervisor,...

May the angels in heaven be so gentle on thee. You have been an inspiration to countless. Passion, perfection, wisdom, and commitment. Your love of music plays on through your students. May the angels in heaven be so gentle on thee.

Received notice of Mr. Hutter while working on music for a spring concert tonight. He worked on this piece a zillion times with me as an audition number for various choruses and the words are my wish back to family and friends in this time of loss

The Lord bless thee,
The Lord keep thee,
Make His face shine upon thee,
and be gracious unto thee.
The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee,
and give thee peace.

My sympathy goes out to the Hutter family. I have fond memories of singing in the Western Presbyterian choir in Palmyra. I've carried on the tradition of sharing the power of music at St. John's Lutheran in Pumpkin Hook. It is funny how God works...the Sunday before he passed I had the privilege of caroling with a group of young people. We happened to be at the right place at the right time. We met Regis and his wife, sang a few carols and shared a smile. Peace to his family.

Sorry for you loss... Mr. Hutter was an amazing music teacher. God Bless all of you. He was a great man!
