Reid Bowman

I lived across the street from Jake, Mary, Richard Reid and Ronnie in Nashville(circa 1954?) My father and Jake worked for Beers . We were all in Augusta Georgia , in Sept. 1956 when my father went into the hospital. The Bowmans took me to stay with them at their house so my mother, Mamie, could stay with my dad while he was in the hospital . They were very kind to me and my mother and father. I think I have a group photo of Richard, Reid and Ronnie during our time in Nashville. I am sorry...

Reid was the example of a true gentleman, and our County is better off due to his time in office - he was a leader who strived to do what was best for all, not just for his area or for him. God Bless his family in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear about Reid, I have known Reid for a long time ,He was a great friend and a very caring man . we will miss him, Prayers lifted for the family.
