Reid Gilbert

10 years and it still feels like yesterday. I miss you my friend.

I still keep the bottle of perfume that Reid gave me. I remember him as if it was yesterday. He was such a beautiful human being.

I was a friend of Reid's at UCI. I have tried to find him over the years and am so saddened by this news. My very deep condolences to John, Reid's parents, family and friends. Gosh, he was a great one! He turned me on to The Talking Heads and I took him up in a hot air balloon. Good Times. Love, Kathy (MacDonald) Graf

Seeing your story in today's I.J. broke my heart. I knew of Lane's tragic death and have been thinking of you more than you can know. And now I learn of wonderful Reid's death as well. I can't imagine the depth of your pain.Would love to say this in person but fail to find contact info for you. Will get from my cousin, Merle, and hope to see you soon. Very saddened to hear of Reid's most untimely death. My heart felt condolences to Jerilyn and his entire family.

Thinking of you John. So sorry. Reid was so young and accomplished so much in his time here on earth. Prayers to his mother and you and all of his family....

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Reid was a very special person who was there for me in my time of need. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

Reid was an extraordinary human being and friend. His spirit lives on in all of us that he touched in his life and will continue to do so. We lost an angel, but I know he is up there looking down and watching over us. Thank you Reid, for all that you have done. You are missed. xoxo Jenn
