Dr. Reid Peter Langford Ballenger

It is mentioned that Peter Ballenger often flew pastors and missionaries various places in his air plane. I was one of the missionaries he flew several times. I am President of Fundamental Baptist World-Wide Mission with headquarters in Memphis,Tennessee. I worked as a lab courier for Methodist Central in the mid 1970s. I picked up lab specimens from Dr. Ballenger's office each weekday. He was always very kind to me and seemed like such a fine person. His obituary bears that out. RIP.

He was a great friend, mentor, physician and family man. He never stopped giving of himself.

A generous colleague and mentor who gave many years of service to Church Health and his patients. He will be missed.
