Not sure what to say?

Reid had been long established at Southern Bell when I started my career. I will remember his always having time to stop and speak if he saw you working. He set the bar for how you should treat people and live your life. He will be missed.

Dear Taffy & Family,
Reid brightened our lives at Lifeline and so many lives in our community through his years of volunteering. He truly made a difference by selflessly giving his time, knowledge, and wisdom so that others could live safely. Reid will remain in our hearts and memories forever as a true guardian of humanity.

Tommy and Vivian-
I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and I hope to see you soon. Love- Susan

Many fond childhood memories from visits to Grandma Hamrick's house in Shelby with Reid and family and all of our cousins. Love and sympathy to Taffy, Sadie and family. Angeline, Karen, Janis and Susan

Our deepest sympathy to the family of a great guy. Knew and worked with Reid for many years.

Taffy, I was very sad to hear of Reid's death. I enjoyed working with him at Southern Bell, especially when he was the transmission expert. Jeanelle and I always enjoyed seeing you the times we were all at Shealy's BBQ.
I pray GOD will bless you and your family and HIS peace be with you always.

Reid was one of the most impressive people I have ever met. He was quiet, but strong and never pretentious. We didn't see nearly enough of them but I fell in love with Taffy and Reid from the first time I met them after I married Robert (Butch). It was always such a joy when they showed up in Shelby and we were sorry when they left that we couldn't just make them stay here! Reid was a true "Southern Gentleman"---a gentle man---if there ever was one! I feel that it was a privilege to have...

Dear Taffy and Family: I was sincerely sorry to hear about Reid. He was a good man and will be missed by all of us who worked around him at Southern Bell. I always remember how he asked about my eldest son, Billy Leopard each and every time I saw him. He will also be missed by those of us in the Pioneers and the BellSouth Retirees Club for his work and efforts with us.

Tommy so sorry to hear about your dad. My family will be keeping yours in our prayers.
