Not sure what to say?

I remember Rena as so beautiful and so nice, even though I had not seen her in about 55 years. Don's parents were our downstairs neighbors in South Shore, and I never forget that when she came to visit, we all thought how pretty she was, and how nice. Our sympathy to the family, from me, and from my mother (Jackie).

I remember Rena as one of my teachers when I was a child at Avalon Park School. An energetic woman with a great love for music in the classroom.

I was a keeper at Lincoln Park Zoo and worked with Rena many times. I never knew what a remarkable life she had.I am proud to have known her.

I remember Rena from our days on Ridgeland Avenue and her driving us to Bowen in our Freshman year. Great lady!

Rena truly cared for people and animals. I will never forget the day she accompanied my son Ian and I to the Lincoln Park zoo. She brought a new insight into the way I viewed all God's creatures that has stayed with me ever since. She was kind and caring and I am a better person for having known her.

Rena was such an exceptional person, warm, outgoing, welcoming. I only knew her for a short time through Temple Jeremiah, but she always made me feel like I was a member of her family. To her own family, please be comforted knowing how much she was loved by all and how much we will miss her.

My dear Rena, You will be so missed by all of us at Temple Jeremiah. It was always a pleasure to spend time with you when you volunteered and when we would go out on our "ladies night" for dinners. I will remember you with great fondness and love.

To my dearest Aunt Rena, you will be remembered with love for always. your smile, laugh, and warmth will always fill our hearts. Love, Elizabeth, Andrew, Daniel and Adam

Rena was a loving, warm, delightful person. To have known her added much to your life. I will miss her even though we didn't see eachother often, but when we did, it was always a delightful event.
