Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Renate's passing, as the one year anniversary approaches. Renate was befriended with my mother, Anneliese Moghul, who passed away October 24, 2025. They had so much in common: immigrants from Germany who settled with their families in Mountaintop, mothers who lived in Berlin, bilingual children, love of classical music and good food, and much more. The sterling silver earrings Renata made for my 40th birthday are still cherished by me. I called her in 2016 on the occasion of my "When I'm 64" birthday and she was happy to hear from me. I tried to call her about a year ago and she didn't remember me but did remember Mom. Steve didn't, either. I hope that this wonderfully talented jeweler rests in peace. I will try to contact my cousins, with whom I have lost contact.

Single Memorial Tree

Our condolences to Melissa and members of Renate's family upon her passing. She certainly was a remarkable woman as noted in her obituary. May you forever cherish her memories and may she rest in peace.

Dear Aunt Renate, it is so incredibly sad but you are better now. Without pain and without suffering. I think so fondly of my holidays and times that I was able to spend with you. In eternal memory, Rainer

Renate will always have a very special place in my heart, my sweet friend will be missed so much, much love to her family that she just treasured !

We are deeply heartbroken about her passing. We had supper with her days prior to her passing. She seemed fine and so glad we had that time together! My family loved her and will always miss this sweet and lovely lady.
